In order to substantially support Taiwan’s art education, Win Sing and Lion Pencil Co., Ltd (Lion Pencil) worked together to sponsor the National Culture and Arts Foundation's Education through Art - Inspire Creativity Program in 2011, hoping that the additional resources can help elementary school and junior high school students in Taiwan to get wider exposure to art, and integrate it into their lives.
The Education through Art III - Inspire Creativity Program was initiated by the National Culture and Arts Foundation and Lion Pencil. The program is now entering its 9th year. This year, to uphold the spirit of education of its founder, Principal Mr. Jing-Huo Yeh, Win Sing became a sponsor. Under the concept “the heartfelt wish of literati”, Win Sing aims to actively elevate its corporate culture into educational and cultural practice while caring for people’s lives and improving Taiwan’s living environment.
Thanks to Win Sing’s participation, the quota for this year’s Education through Art subsidy has been increased to four, allowing more outstanding organizations to conduct creative education by bringing art and the field of humanities into schools. This will allow more students to experience and learn about art, as well as inspire and cultivate in them humanistic potential.
